Five areas of development to build your confidence each day:

Freshman, hair cutting all month, only one hour per day is dedicated to your state board curriculum, all the rest hands on fun.

Sophomore, is all about coloring, the latest in hair painting and melting to our classic foiling and global applications.

Junior, three months immersion in classics, repeating freshman and sophomore but with the client experience added. This is where in-depth certification begins with Masters of Balayage for the latest in hair-painting techniques and certification as well as TRYBE, our curl education partners. 

Senior, these two moths add a new curriculum based on current trends from London, client contact and the successful  business systems of our industry.

Graduating Senior, the final piece to honing you into a confident stylist, resume building and job shadowing, and a busy salon environment daily.

Our TIGI Hairdressing Academy in Guilford, CT offers educational opportunities to anyone interested in a career in hairdressing and cosmetology.

New classes begin the first Tuesday of each month. We encourage you to call today to set up an appointment and tour our facility to learn more about a career in hairdressing and cosmetology.

-All applicants are given a personal interview to determine interest, desire, and ability to benefit from our training.

-Our Admissions Policy states that each applicant must provide a copy of a high school diploma or certification of high school equivalency (G.E.D.). 

-As part of its Admissions Policy, we require proof of age, demonstrating that the applicant is at least 16 years old.

-TIGI Creative School Guilford does accept transfer students, evaluated on a case by case basis to determine if hours and/or grades earned at another cosmetology school will be accepted. TIGI Creative School Guilford does not initiate contact with applicants or students at any other school.
